Production of Hemp oil

Hemp plants produce an abundance of seeds that contain nutrients like phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin E & B complex group of vitamins such as niacinamide riboflavin, thiamine & folic acid.

Hemp oil is produced from the seeds of hemp plants through pressing or crushing. Once the source has been pushed until it’s cold-pressed, there are different methods used to extract its oil. One way is by using ethanol alcohol as a solvent on low heat, which separates plant waxes and lipids, leaving behind crude CBD crystals, which can be purified further via the winterization method (the fats are frozen, filtered off, then heated under a vacuum) making cannabis-derived cannabidiol shatter easier to handle for consumers.

This process creates an amber-colored sticky substance that contains both cannabinoids found in marijuana, such as THC but without psychoactive effects unless taken at higher doses than recommended amounts due to the presence of THC-A, which is non-psychoactive.

Hemp oil can also be made using the C02 extraction process, where carbon dioxide is passed through the plant material under high pressure and low temperatures to isolate, protect, and maintain the purity of CBD extract. This method produces a pure hemp extract free from solvent residue, but it’s expensive due to the equipment used & required by this method.
